Something about the Golden Globes makes some nominees shoe crazy, and
it's not always in a good way. Most actresses dazzled in their Manolo
Blahniks, Christian Louboutins or Jimmy Choo heels. But "The
Descendants" star Shailene Woodley had a different idea.
Shailene is certainly not the first to turn heads for a unique footwear choice at the Golden Globes. Last year, Helena Bonham Carter made headlines by rocking two different shoes down the red carpet. The actress paired her Vivienne Westwood dress with mismatched heels -- one red and one green -- and accessorized with a headpiece and black sunglasses.

After the ceremony, the actress ditched her Marchesa dress and
Tabitha Simmons shoes for an entirely different ensemble for the In
Style/Warner Bros. after party. And while she still opted to wear a
gown, her choice in footwear was definitely nontraditional. Woodley
selected what looked to be a pair of Vibram "Five Finger" shoes,
choosing comfort over style. Shailene is certainly not the first to turn heads for a unique footwear choice at the Golden Globes. Fortunately,
Shailene's strange shoes were both the same color. It must be something
about being nominated for Best Supporting Actress.
